Expert Construction Management & Turnkey Execution

Single-Source Responsibility for Complex Utility Installations.

Purchasing a state-of-the-art compressed air or vacuum system is only the first step. Getting that heavy equipment off the flatbed truck, safely into your mechanical room, and fully integrated into your plant’s infrastructure is a massive logistical challenge. Managing multiple subcontractors—riggers, electricians, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians—often leads to miscommunication, budget overruns, and costly production delays.

Blackhawk Equipment eliminates this headache through our comprehensive Construction Management services. We act as your single point of contact and dedicated project manager, overseeing the entire installation process from the initial site walk-through to the final system startup. We deliver true Turnkey Solutions, allowing your maintenance and engineering teams to stay focused on your core production while we build your utility room.

The Turnkey Advantage: One PO, Zero Headaches

When you partner with Blackhawk Equipment for a turnkey project, you eliminate the finger-pointing that happens when multiple independent contractors work on the same system. You issue one Purchase Order, and we take full responsibility for the results.

If the electrical feed does not align with the compressor’s starter, or the ventilation ducting interferes with the piping header, it is our job to solve it, not yours. Our project managers ensure that the system designed by our Engineering Team is executed flawlessly in the real world, on time, and on budget.

Comprehensive Subcontractor & Trade Coordination

Installing industrial rotary screw compressors, centrifugal units, or massive receiver tanks requires specialized trades working in perfect harmony. Blackhawk Equipment brings a network of vetted, highly skilled industrial contractors to your site, completely managed by our team.

Industrial compressors can weigh tens of thousands of pounds. We coordinate the specialized rigging, forklift operations, and crane lifts required to safely maneuver delicate equipment through tight factory doors and onto structural concrete pads without damaging your facility.

We manage the certified electricians required to pull high-voltage lines, install disconnects, wire Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and connect the low-voltage communication cables for master sequencing panels and cloud monitoring systems.

Our mechanical teams expertly weld, thread, and press the interconnecting piping. Whether installing a new Infinity Aluminum Pipe  header or tying into an existing stainless steel process line, we ensure a zero-leak installation.

Compressors generate massive amounts of heat. We coordinate the installation of custom ductwork, motorized louvers, and exhaust fans to ensure your equipment room maintains the optimal ambient temperature year-round.

Minimizing Production Downtime

We understand that shutting down your plant to install a new air system is incredibly expensive. Our construction managers excel at phased installations and critical path scheduling.

When a complete shutdown is required, we schedule the heaviest work for weekends, holidays, or night shifts to minimize the impact on your revenue. Furthermore, Blackhawk Equipment can provide and integrate Temporary Rental Compressors to keep your plant running seamlessly while the old equipment is removed and the new system is installed.

Safety, Compliance, and Final Commissioning

Safety is the foundation of our construction management philosophy. We ensure that all work performed on your site complies with strictly enforced OSHA regulations, local building codes, and environmental standards.

The project is not complete when the pipes are connected; it is complete when the system runs perfectly. Our factory-trained technicians perform a rigorous final commissioning process. We verify motor rotations, calibrate dew point sensors, tune pressure bands, and conduct a full Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) on-site before handing the keys over to your team.

Let Us Build Your Next System

Do not let your next capital equipment upgrade turn into a logistical nightmare. Trust the experienced construction managers at Blackhawk Equipment to execute your project safely and efficiently.
