Dry Fluid Cooling Towers

Closed Loop Dry Coolers

Dry fluid cooling towers provide an efficient heat rejection solution without consuming any water, making them ideal for locations with water scarcity or strict environmental regulations. By utilizing a sealed, pressurized closed-loop system, they separate the working fluid from the ambient air, preventing contamination and eliminating water treatment costs.

  • Zero Water Consumption: Operates purely by transferring heat from the fluid to ambient air via finned heat exchangers, using no water in the process.
  • Contaminant-Free: The sealed closed-loop design ensures the process fluid never comes into contact with outside air, keeping the system clean.

Closed Circuit Hybrid Towers

Closed evaporative cooling towers combine the efficiency of evaporative cooling with the protection of a closed loop. By circulating a water/glycol mixture through a coil that is not directly exposed to the air, these systems prevent scale formation and fouling, resulting in higher efficiency and significantly less downtime for maintenance compared to open systems.

  • Scale Prevention: The process fluid is isolated in a coil, preventing the buildup of scale and biological growth associated with open water exposure.
  • High Efficiency: Best utilized in high ambient temperature locations with low humidity, where evaporative cooling is most effective.
